There’s something different about returning to the same ground. Learning its rhythms. Watching a young buck grow. Knowing the work behind every opportunity.

Legacy Grounds brings seasonal membership and local guidance together on private Missouri farms. Established hunting setups, deliberate management, and a small group of members give the land room to produce the kind of experience we believe in.

THE WAY WE HUNT

We don’t fill stands.
We hunt mature deer.

Good ground needs a plan. Good members respect it.

Talk about the approach ↗
01

Protect the pressure.

Approved entry and exit routes, thoughtful timing, and undisturbed areas keep the property working throughout the season.

02

Let conditions lead.

Wind, access, and current deer activity shape the plan. Some days call for patience. Every sit should have a purpose.

03

Know what we’re growing.

Farm-specific harvest standards and current buck lists help protect younger deer and keep members working toward the same goals.

04

Share the responsibility.

Communication, sit reports, and respect for other members and landowners are part of belonging here.

JACOB SUNTKEN · MY STORY

It started at deer camp.
It became a way of life.

Long before November Oaks Legacy, there was deer camp in northern Michigan. That’s where this all started for me.

I grew up hunting with my dad at a young age. For years, deer camp was a family tradition with my father, mother, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Hunting was something we shared across generations, and those years gave me a connection to it that never left.

My dad fed my addiction to archery hunting. I took in everything I could and pushed myself to see how far I could take it. That passion became my work. Back in Michigan, I guided and cared for deer at a hunting preserve, and I also worked as an archery technician.

After moving to Missouri, I spent two years working as a guide and manager for an outfitter. During my third year working there, in 2018, I started my own hunting business. I haven’t looked back.

Every part of that path shaped how I run November Oaks Legacy today. Legacy Grounds brings it together: the work of managing a farm, the patience it takes to hunt mature deer, and the kind of tradition that gives people a reason to keep coming back.

My family gave me that beginning. Now I’m building a place where others can make traditions of their own.

BEFORE YOU JOIN

A few things
worth knowing.

What does membership include? +

Membership provides access to a specific managed farm for the seasons and activities stated in your agreement, with established hunting setups and local guidance. Lodging, meals, guests, and other arrangements vary by farm and are confirmed before joining.

Is this a fully guided daily hunt? +

Legacy Grounds is a seasonal membership experience with local guidance. We help coordinate setups, access, and hunting decisions. Discuss the level of assistance you need during your inquiry so expectations are clear before joining.

Can I come whenever I want? +

Visits are coordinated in advance. Farm access, stands, and hunting times follow the management plan, current conditions, and your membership agreement.

Can I bring stands, cameras, or guests? +

Personal equipment and guests require approval. We coordinate hunting setups and camera use to protect pressure and keep everyone working from the same plan.

How much does it cost, and are there openings? +

Contact Jacob for current pricing and availability. Each farm has its own membership terms. An inquiry starts a conversation and does not reserve a place or create a membership.
